CASCO, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Two of the three suspects involved in Casco home invasions are in custody.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office responded to two separate locations in Casco for home invasions.

The first one was reported just after 3:00am, a female had knocked on the homeowner's door and said that she needed help. When the home owner opened the door two males armed with handguns forced their way into the house. The nephew of the homeowner who lives in the apartment attached to the house went to investigate and called 911 notifying Deputies. The suspects knew the call had been made and fled. No one was injured at the residence.

The suspects then went to another residence on New Road in Casco and again the female knocked on the door stating she needed help, the two males forced their way into the residence, again armed with handguns. The male and female homeowners were "pistol whipped" and tied up while the suspects stole property from the residence. Due to the victims being tied up there was a delay on that Robbery being reported until they got lose. The male homeowner was taken to Bridgton Hospital with non-threatening injuries she sustained from being pistol whipped.

Shortly after 1:00pm, Massachusetts State Police acting on information the Sheriff's Office Detectives were able to gather, stopped a vehicle in Sturbridge, Massachusetts on I-90.

In the vehicle was, Dylan McPhee, 20, and a 19- year-old female, Olivia Patricia Pope. Both have been arrested and are being held by the Massachusetts authority, both will be held pending and extradition hearing before they can be brought back to Maine.

The third suspect has been identified as Merwan Machhout, 21, of Fryeburg and is still at large. Suspect is considered armed and dangerous, if you see him or have any additional information please call the Communications Center at 207-893-2810.
