Grand Opening for Summit Adventures at The Maine Mall

Summit Adventures Extreme Family Entertainment Center at The Maine Mall will have a day-long grand opening celebration on Saturday, October 30, 2010.

Events will include a live broadcast by WCYY's Rob and Curdo, a rock climbing wall in the Mall parking lot, haunted laser tag, raffles, discounts, and prizes.

Currently on a short-term lease at The Maine Mall, Summit Adventures is seeking to establish a foothold in the Greater Portland area by offering safe, active fun for kids and adults alike. A healthy alternative to video games or watching a movie, Summit Adventure's attractions provide challenging, adrenaline-pumping opportunities for their customers to scale a climbing wall, flip in the air on a bungee trampoline, battle their friends in laser tag, or walk on water in a human hamster ball.

About Summit Adventures at The Maine Mall
Summit Adventure's location offers a wide variety of extreme sports simulators and active fun for all ages.

Class Project Sparks Efforts to Renovate Dilapidated Court
PORTLAND, ME – The Maine Red Claws, presented by Quirk Chevrolet, today announced that they have
joined the efforts of two Windham High School students to renovate a public basketball court in the town of
Windham. The court, which is currently in severe disrepair and unusable, is located near the Manchester
Elementary School and will be the only public outdoor court in the town of Windham.
“We were approached by Windham highs school students Matt Dyer and Matt Desmond early in the fall seeking
the Red Claws’ assistance to renovate an outdoor basketball court in Windham,” said Red Claws President and
General Manager.
