Now that the days are getting shorter & the nights much cooler, you may have a case of fall fever? If you're anything like me, you really love summer & hate to see it go, but you welcome fall with open arms! There is so much to do in Maine in the fall. Join to celebrate the power of recovery. Groups and individuals concerned with the continuing incidents of alcohol and drug abuse in the community are being encouraged to take part in the walk which is being organized and hosted by Catholic Charities Maine’s Counseling Services in partnership with Milestone Foundation, Crossroads for Women, Day One, Milestone, and Serenity House in celebration of National Alcohol and Drug Recovery Month.

Camp Sunshine Receives $400,000 Donation from Tropical Smoothie Café

Smoothie and sandwich chain fundraising efforts will benefit more than 150 families of children with life-threatening illnesses

CASCO, Maine (August 19, 2011) – Camp Sunshine, a one-of-a-kind national retreat in Casco, Maine, for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, has announced that it received a $400,000 donation from Tropical Smoothie Café.
