SERVICE DOG TO 11-YEAR-OLD RAYMOND RESIDENT
WHAT
With a donation from Shaw’s Supermarkets and the Milk-Bone brand, Seth Richards, diagnosed with Epilepsy, will be welcomed to the Canine Assistants family and introduced to a representative Canine Assistants service dog.  A certified Canine Assistants Trainer will be speaking at the event regarding the improved quality of life gained by each service dog recipient, like Seth. 

Seth and his new best friend will go home together after they have both attended an upcoming sponsored training camp together.

Hoof Care Clinic to Benefit Therapeutic Riding Program

Windham - Dave Whitaker, a farrier who specializes in therapeutic shoeing and hoof rehabilitation is the featured speaker at “Everything You Ever Wanted to Ask Your Farrier”, a clinic for horse owners and equine caregivers. The hoof care clinic is scheduled for 10am to 1pm, Sunday, January 23rd and proceeds benefit Riding To The Top Therapeutic Riding Center.  Topics include routine and preventive care, recognizing common problems and how to handle sprung, twisted or loose shoes. Do you know who owns this cat?

We have picked up this cat in the area of West Casco in Ocean Park two days ago. It is a Maine Coon cat, white and grey in color and is wearing a flea collar. If you know who owns it, would you please call the Animal Control Officer at 934-4911. We will hold for two days and then it will go to the Animal Welfare in Kennebunk.
