WINDHAM, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Windham came to honor one of their own lost when the El Faro sank last week.

Captain Michael Davidson, along with three other Mainers, were lost when the El Faro was lost during Hurricane Joaquin.

More than a hundred people gathered tonight in Davidson's neighborhood for a vigil in his honor.

Members of the community lit candles and offered their prayers for the family.

They also released 33 balloons into the air, including one for Captain Davidson, in honor of El Faro's crew members.
