GORHAM, Maine - A Standish man remains in critical condition after a late night crash in Gorham.

Gorham Police say 21-year old Cameron Morrissette of Standish lost control of his Subaru and crashed into trees on Shaws Mill Road just before 11pm.

According to Gorham Lieutenant Christopher Sanborn, when officials arrived on scene, Morrissette's vehicle was on its side, resting on a tree.

Sanborn says Morrissette was still in his vehicle, unconscious, with what appeared to be "significant" head trauma. Morissette was transported to Maine Medical Center.

Gorham Police are investigating the crash.
