WHAT
With a donation from Shaw’s Supermarkets and the Milk-Bone brand, Seth Richards, diagnosed with Epilepsy, will be welcomed to the Canine Assistants family and introduced to a representative Canine Assistants service dog.  A certified Canine Assistants Trainer will be speaking at the event regarding the improved quality of life gained by each service dog recipient, like Seth. 

Seth and his new best friend will go home together after they have both attended an upcoming sponsored training camp together.

Milk-Bone, through the brand’s “I Give” initiative is taking aggressive steps to help people with special needs through the Canine Assistants organization by partnering them with service dogs. 

Canine Assistants is a national charitable organization that provides assistance dogs to people with disabilities, at no cost to the recipient.  The cost and care of these specially-trained dogs exceeds $20,000!  The organization runs entirely on individual and corporate donations, such as those from the Milk-Bone brand.
