Friday, April 27, 2012:Innkeeper-Chef Keith A. Neubert will be welcoming the 30 or so men and women who are working on the almost-finished Naples Causeway Revitalization to his warm dining room at The Inn at Long Lake as a show of appreciation for their hard work in transforming the Causeway area of Naples. The anticipated unveiling date of the project is May 19, 2012. The luncheon commences at noon while the workers are on their daily lunch break. Chef Neubert has asked a friend, Chef Patrick Brideau, former Head Baker/Executive Chef at Phillips Exeter Academy, with whom he worked in the mid-nineties as Lead Dinner Chef. Both Chefs have envisioned a meal composed of “hearty Yankee comfort food” perfect and warming for a breezy Spring afternoon onLong Lake.
