Bridgton police say speed is likely a factor in a crash along Route 302 near Naples.


BRIDGTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Bridgton police are investigating a deadly crash on Route 302 near the Naples town line.

The crash happened just before 6pm Sunday.

Police said it appears the driver of one vehicle was trying to pass another car, but lost control and hit a tree.

The driver, 35-year-old Candice Tucker, was treated for minor injuries at Bridgton Hospital. The two passengers, 16-year-old Branden Denis of Gorham and 35-year-old Eric Morey of Portland died in the crash.

Officials say excess speed appears to be a factor in the crash.


Accident closes part of Route 302 in Windham


WINDHAM, Maine

(NEWS CENTER) -- Windham dispatch confirmed there was a 3-car crash near the intersection of Route 302 and Mineral Springs Road.

Windham dispatch said there are injuries but the extent of those injuries, and the number of people injured, is currently unknown.


Route 302 is closed in the area.

Windham man arrested for terrorizing


WINDHAM, Maine

(NEWS CENTER) -- Windham Police have arrested a man for allegedly yelling threats at his neighbors.

Officers were called to Marshall Valley Road off Highland Cliff Road in Windham just after 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Police eventually made contact with Raymond C.Marshall III and arrested him for Terrorizing.

Marshall was taken to the Cumberland County Jail.


Harrison man arrested for possessing child porn


HARRISON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- State Police said a Harrison man is now free on bail following his arrest for possessing child pornography.

37-year-old Wayne Pike was arrested for possession of sexually explicit material of someone under the age of 12, at his home at 582 Bolsters Mills Road in Harrison.

Pike has been under investigation since last summer after the State Police's Computer Crimes Unit received information that resulted in a search of his house. Agents seized and examined Pike's computer and found thousands of files and images of infants and toddlers being sexually abused.
